This year has had its ups and downs, but we’re taking a moment to end the year on a high note and talk about some of our favorite projects! Whatever plans and campaigns we had in place back in January obviously had to have some slight adjustments. ????But, we took those challenges in stride and created some incredible campaigns that we’re super proud of. In no particular order, here are our top 5 projects of 2020:
Olson Homes: Roadmap to Homeownership
What does it take to buy your first home (especially during a pandemic) and why was this year a good time to make that purchase? We took those questions and made them into a detailed campaign for Southern California Builder, Olson Homes! Creating a series of blog posts, emails, ads, and social media posts, we broke down these umbrella questions into three categories: Why buy now? Why buy new? Why buy with Olson?
As a result, the amazing work our team did was a finalist in the 2020 SoCal Honors Awards for Best Marketing Program! ????
Toll Brothers: Love Everything About Home
Now more than ever, “home” has become the epicenter of our lives, and we wanted to showcase that in our Love Everything About Home campaign. We created a series of videos for Toll’s Northern and Southern California divisions that encompass the new normal of 2020 and how potential homebuyers can enjoy the live/work/learn lifestyle in a Toll Brothers home, from turning your versatile loft into a classroom to keeping the professional vibe alive in a private home office.
Did we mention these videos will be shown as Hulu ads?! You might just see a familiar face in the one below…????
Olson Homes: Make Space for Your Happy Place
Right before sheltering in place became a thing, we had plans for a special in-person event for Olson Homes. The event was intended to have KonMari Method™ specialist, Sandy from Tidy with Spark, come in and demonstrate how to organize your beautiful new Olson home. However, when an in-person event was no longer an option, we adapted! Instead of a single event, we transformed this idea into a month-long campaign called Make Space for Your Happy Place. Our team created a series of videos, blogs, and emails that shared insightful home organization tips while showing off the fantastic living spaces of the Expo Walk community!

Shea Homes: Coffee with Shea ☕
Speaking of taking things to the virtual space, we are currently helping the Shea Homes NorCal division create a fun new way to show off their homes via live videos on social media! Coffee with Shea is an informal, laid back approach to the model home tour. Each week, viewers get to join a Community Representative as they take them on a room-by-room virtual tour while answering questions live, and talking about the details and features that make each floorplan unique.
P.S. We even went a step further and created a Guide to Going Virtual so that everyone could adapt to these changing times, and learn some new techniques for recording live model tours!
GC Fly Tours
Last, but not least, is our exciting new product that will officially be up and running early 2021…GC Fly- Tours! An immersive and interactive experience, GC Fly Tours lets you take to the sky and explore a community from a bird’s-eye perspective. We can’t give all the details away just yet, but keep an eye on the horizon and be sure to join our newsletter for when we unveil the full service to our clients!
It was definitely an interesting year, but with it came exciting opportunities to stretch our skills and create awesome content. The year 2020 wasn’t without its challenges, but our team handled those challenges with passion, focus, and positivity. We are so excited and hopeful to see what the new year brings!
