Halloween Spirit Goes Further Than Candy & Costumes at Get Community!

Happy Halloween everyone! We hope you’re having a fabulous fall so far because we certainly are. As you probably already know, we’re all about recognizing any and all holidays around here. From Valentine’s Day to Cinco de Mayo to National Monte Cristo Day, and now to Halloween. We’re going to talk about how we’re getting into the spooky spirit and how we use holidays and other occasions (like birthdays) to build team spirit and company morale!

When the team spirit is strong in your office, more gets done, and a stronger more gets done. But, what does this require? Here are our top picks:

First, we make sure we have a good idea of what everyone can bring to the table. The best teams are the ones that play to everyone’s strengths. We encourage each other to share ideas and we view mistakes as opportunities to grow. If we can be honest, helpful, empathetic, and encouraging, we can build an unstoppable team!

Second, a little recognition goes a long way. Not everyone likes getting older but birthdays are a part of life and at Get Community, our employees are sure to get the reminder! Really though, it’s so crucial to recognize people. Not just as employees and the job they do, but as actual people with lives and ambitions. We love our team and we like them to know it!

Third on the list is team building and growing. Friday is company lunch day and a lot of the time we try to sit down and have a good old conventional chat face to face. Bowling nights, movie nights, make-up parties, company book club, and little outings here and there bring everyone together for a good time that only strengthens our little team!

Now for the serious matter of how we celebrated Halloween!
