The Get Community team has been fortunate to work with multiple Shea Homes divisions over the past 10+ years. Their portfolio of home types and community locations is inspiring, reliable, and cost-effective, and their service to aspiring homeowners is nothing short of praiseworthy. So, naturally, we were ready to dive in when their team reached out to us last year to create buzz for one of their largest and most anticipated projects, The Hill District at North City.
The Hill District Project
Why is everyone totally HYPED for The Hill District? Here’s what you need to know:
- The Location. Destined to become the jewel of North City, The Hill District is set within the picturesque foothills of northern San Diego in San Marcos. This incredible master plan brings people together via walkable streets that come alive with art, culture, and bustling farmers’ markets. Here, residents will find a plethora of eating, shopping, outdoor recreation opportunities, and entertainment destinations, like San Marcos Restaurant Row, Discovery Lake, walking trails, and golf courses. Plus, aspiring scholars won’t be far from home while attending Cal State University, San Marcos.
- The Homes. The Hill District community will feature three distinctive neighborhoods built by Lennar Homes and three built by Shea Homes: Amplitude (townhomes), Peak59 (condos), and ReVel (townhomes). Each enclave will offer a fresh take on mid-century modern flair and sleek designs. All Shea floorplans will boast plenty of space, ranging from 1,292 to 2,326 sq. ft., with up to 4 beds and 3.5 baths—perfect for entertaining guests for the weekend!
- The Amenities. Speaking of weekend guests, there will be fantastic amenities to enjoy close to home, including a 16-acre park, a trail system, community events, and a private recreation center with a pool, hot tub, fitness center, demonstration kitchen, and an indoor/outdoor lounge. The kiddos will have their pick of different play areas and tot lots, while parents can fire up the grill and serve up some BBQ.
- Coming Soon! The three neighborhoods built by Shea Homes go on sale later this month! On 2/17, homebuyers can reserve their dream homes at Amplitude and ReVel, and Peak59 is anticipated to go on sale in March.
